That Time of the Year
Directed by David Dunlap Sam Bass Community Theatre, Round Rock Friday November 27 through Saturday, December 19. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings at 8:00 p.m. Sunday matinees at 2:00 pm. Champagne gala follows the opening night performance on November 27. A musical revue of 25 all-original Christmas, Hanukkah and New Year's songs that captures the warmth and humor of this unique interfaith holiday season. The show offers a wide variety of material, running the musical gamut from show tunes to rock, blues and jazz. The songs, with lyrics by the ASCAP award-winning team of Laurence Holzman & Felicia Needleman, and music by seven different composers, range from funny, upbeat group numbers, highlighting the joys and anxieties of the holiday season, to beautiful, touching ballads about the meaning behind both holidays.

 CiCi Barone - CiCi was most recently seen as Elizabeth Hartly-Trumptington in this season’s opening show, Murdered to Death. Some of CiCi’s other roles include, Claire in My Bugatti Story, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Dyann Symonds in Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All for You, Hostess in Merry Wives of Windsor, and Crystal Allen in The Women.
Denise Garza - This is Denise's first show at Sam Bass Community Theatre. Prior to relocating to the area, Denise was on the Board of Directors at CAST Theatrical Company in Rosenberg and appeared in many of their productions. Some of her favorite roles have been in Plaza Suite, Dr. Cook's Garden, The Odd Couple - Female Version, The Dixie Swim Club, and Exit the Body.
Kristen Granville - Kristen has been involved with various theatre and choral productions and is thrilled to be making her debut at the Sam Bass Community Theatre. Her previous performances in her hometown of Yorktown Heights, NY include roles in The Wizard of Oz, The Pajama Game, Gypsy, Mame, Annie and The Boyfriend.
G. Olin Meadows IV - Olin has been acting from the young age of 5, coming from a very creative family. Olin has always loved to be the center of attention. Some of his favorite roles include Conrad Birdie in Bye Bye Birdie, Mr.Smith in The Bald Soprano (which won him the U.I.L. best actor Award) as well as Colin in The Secret Garden, and Goat in The Robber Bridegroom. Olin can be seen around the state entertaining in the Cabaret world as his alter-ego "Saffire" and raising money for charities.
Jan Seides (Pianist) – Jan is an accomplished musician and singer/songwriter based right here in the Austin area. She has published three albums: Slowly but Surely, Everyday People, and Family Album.
