"National Pastime," the brand new Broadway-bound musical will be workshopped in Austin at ATP! AUDITIONS FOR "NATIONAL PASTIME" WILL BEGIN ONLINE JULY 1, 2013!! You will be asked to sing two CONTRASTING songs in the 1930's style. Think the musical "City of Angels," the film "Dick ," anything Gershwin or Irving Berlin.

Want to be part of a creative team? Punchkin Repertory Theatre needs to fill a Stage Manager position immediately for our upcoming run of Raised In Captivity July 12-14 and 19-21.

Raised in Captivity Punchkin Repertory Austin TXStage manager duties include:
-Coordinating the scheduling of rehearsals, paper tech, tech, and run
-Acting as liaison between actors, director, and other company members (e.g. - rehearsal reminders, issues)
-Noting blocking, props, lighting/sound cues
-Must be able to attend all rehearsals and performances
-Must be patient and flexible in thinking
-Must be highly organized
-Must have reliable transportation
-And above all, must LOVE theatre!

Bottle Alley Theatre Austin TXBottle Alley Theatre Company in Austin is seeking one actress to join their production of Make-Believe immediately

Make-Believe by Chris Fontanes Bottle Alley Theatre Austin TXMake-Believe is an experimental theatrical piece, an abstract narrative of forgotten dreams and hospitals, of death and love, and all the things that you wished you remembered. In the world of Make-Believe, nothing is ever what it seems.

The part is the main supporting role of Samantha, who represents love. She is a professional sex worker at the hospital, alternately spacey, bittersweet, and quirky.

Performance dates for the production are July 12, 13, 19 and 20th at Grayduck Gallery. Rehearsals are every Monday through Wednesday evenings.

This is very much so a first come, first served role and this ad shall be taken down once the role has been filled.
